In my daily readings this week based on the book of Jeremiah, I was reminded that we are not all called to be prophets or missionaries but we are called to be Jesus’ representatives in a broken world. That meaning feeling something of God’s heart for the world we live in and the pain this must cause Him. This week, why not spend some time reflecting on God’s heart for a broken world and for lost people. Make sure you ask Him what He would have you do.
This week why not pause for a moment to acknowledge God’s place in your life. Recognise God’s amazing love for you and then reaffirm your love for God.
jesus Christ is risen today! Alleluia! Praise God. He is risen!
This week, why not commit your ways to the Lord (Psalm 37:5). That really is a good way to start each day!
This week, no matter how you are feeling this week, do remember to count your blessings and thank God for the ways He has blessed you over the years – and, will continue to do so!
If you are feeling under pressure this week, then look up because your help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth. Whatever you need, talk to the Father about it today!
This week, why not spend some time reflecting on the different biblical names given to Jesus: Emmanuel, Shepherd, Redeemer, Light, Friend and so on. Thank Him that he is all of these things for YOU!
This week, try to set aside some time to sit quietly and wait on the Lord. Ask Him to speak to you, and to give you a willing heart to hear and obey anything He says.
In these worrying times I suggest we, ‘Trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding; in all our ways submit to Him, and He will make our paths straight’ (Proverbs 3, 5,6)
